[ Characteristics of this position]

◎ It is an environment where PDCA can be turned and done for its own service.

Engineers are never exhausted for reckless delivery or excessive quality.

Because it is developed in-house, schedule flexibility works to some extent, so it is possible to achieve “delivery time <quality”.

In addition, as a characteristic of Lux, there is a corporate culture such as “We place great importance on PDCA”. For

this reason (including teams other than the development team), there is a climate in which “why analysis is done” such as “Why did it work?” “What caused the failure?” “What can be used next?”

◎ Abundant career paths. Lux is an environment where one company can work for a long time.

We can pack your career in two areas: a “specialist course” where we are extremely skilled in technology and a “generalist course” where we are also managing.

Some people go to the product planning team. (Of course, it is possible to change the product in charge!)

◎ It is a company with many engineers who have strong in-house love.

When I asked the managers of the music checkout and music details and several development staff in the leader class, “What are the good points of the Lux development team?”, “Services with high workability, freedom, and high social contribution … “There were many answers, such as

” Employee personality is really good “.

(I also manager of each team has been actively participating in the external study sessions, but often seems to boast of their own team.)

Strong opinion of the business side, such as sales and marketing, has been instructed mono We have nothing to do with an environment that only creates

“Let’s make better service! It can be said that there is something that can be as strong as any other company.

In developing new functions and plans, all teams work together to develop services from the customer’s perspective.

◎ Because most of the managers are from engineers (4 out of 6), it is easy to understand the opinions of engineers.

It seems that there are quite a few companies that run non-engineering people who cannot easily understand the opinions of management.

(This is a lot of stress from an engineer’s point of view.) Since there are many management teams from engineers, including Nakamura, the president of LAX,

“The security of this in-house system is poor. ” “I want this training to go. “It is very stress-free because the talk about business and systems is quick and understandable.”

◎ It is an easy-to-work environment. Active club activities!

Circle activities are aimed at improving motivation and building relationships of trust when working in Lux, and enhancing work-life balance.

Examples: Baseball, futsal, bouldering, band, rakugo, gunpla, nail, etc. (with assistance of 20,000 yen per person per year)

◎ Worked consistently from upstream process (planning and requirement definition).

Product VU is performed once every three months. (Development takes the lead and promotes the project with the business side and product planning teams) From the You will be responsible for the in-house developed cloud service “Easy Checkout”.

Product VU is performed once every three months. (Development takes the lead and promotes the project with the business side and product planning teams) From the

service planning such as “What new machine to make” to the development environment construction such as “What is the optimal technical environment in that?” You can work consistently from the upstream phase.

◎ The company recommends that you actively participate in internal and external study sessions.

(About twice a month for the infrastructure team and once a month in collaboration with the development team)

・ Once every three months, technical events such as “RAKUS Meetup Tokyo” are held to invite external engineers.

・ Beer bash is conducted once a month. While pinching pizza and drinking beer, we give presentations / questions and answers up to about 15 minutes.

It is conducted with a very light glue and serves as a place for younger presentations and output practice.

・ In addition, in order to catch new technologies and the latest trends that cannot be learned by the company alone, the company recommends that you actively participate in external study sessions (including paid seminars). The

◎ You can engage in services with a large number of users.

At first glance it seems that “B2B service seems to be solid…”,

but it is involved in a service with a very large number of users (Lux customers mentioned above 50,000 companies)

・ Lux service has a very low churn rate , Keeps stable sales.

In addition, the number of new customers is steadily increasing and it is a perfect environment for those who want to engage in services that sell well.

・ There are many companies that handle in-house services, but since Lux handles multiple services and does not rely only on specific services, there is stability as a company (risk hedge).

◎ Since the customer success team and the development team (this position) are working side by side, the user’s voice can be caught quickly.

◎ Because development is completely in-house, decision making is fast, and

new functions can be quickly reflected in the service.
